Birthday, vacation and more!

The fairy princess with her fairy flower

It is early August, but it truly feels like I blinked, and summer came... and (I'm sad to say), left again. At least here in dreary, rainy Halifax. But as with any small child (especially one with a July birthday), Juniper lapped up every minute of it while it lasted. A good chunk of time was spent in Fredericton - I went down for a week and a bit while Clark did Shad Valley, and then he joined us there for another week when he was done.  As it was just around the right time, we had (multiple!) birthday parties for Juniper, went swimming almost every day, got to hang out with some wonderful people we don't get to see nearly often enough, and just generally had a fantastic time.  Here are some highlights from the last month and a bit - enjoy!

Professional kite flyer!
Juniper really wanted me to ride the horses... I told her "maybe when I'm not so pregnant".

Hanging with Simon and Noni at the park...

... and at Bob and Mary's

We finally meet beautiful baby Beatrice!

Water goodness at the Kollers

Juniper and Zack share some quiet catch-up time

"more, please, daddy!  More, please!"

The next generation: me and Juniper; Christie and Beatrice; Erin and Zack
Opening her big birthday present...

Ummm... can you tell she loves her new wagon? (at Grandpa and Grandma's farm)

More wagon hilarity

This sums up her birthday... I made the skirt that morning, and she was the perfect fairy.

And finally, a video to sum it all up.  More fun stuff coming soon! Stay posted!
