A little bit of everything

Oh my goodness. I had meant to do a Mother's Day post... I had meant to do a "happy 9 months" post, I had meant to do a number of posts in the last month that only happened in my head. So instead, here is a big mish mash of photos with no real underlying thread. I will also post some videos in a couple of days, so stay tuned!

Teeth!
Well, I promised a photo of Juniper's rogue tooth when I could get one, and here it is! The big update, however, is that this handsome little tooth now has a mate poking through directly beside it. Is there anything cuter?

Fish lips
Juniper is now a master kisser. In fact, you can say "Juniper, can I have a kiss?", and she'll actually come over and plant one on your cheek. Or your nose, or maybe even your lips. In the meantime, she likes to practice, and has gotten her fish lips down to a science:

Biking Adventure
A few weeks ago, we took Juniper on her first biking adventure. We loaded her into our hand-me-down bike trailer, and headed off to the BLT (Beechville Lakeside Timberlea) trail. Juniper was enthralled for the first half, and then a big tired cranky pants for the second half. The poor thing was desperate for a nap, but couldn't fall asleep with all the jostling and newness. It was good fun, however, and I'd love to do more this summer.

Fancy Dresses
Juniper recently got two gorgeous dresses - a polka-dotted floral number from my mom (she got it on their recent trip out West), and a bohemian-style combo (that I wish I owned!) from Clark's mom's friends from Fredericton, who dropped by to meet Juniper when they were all visiting Halifax a couple of weeks ago. Both dresses looked so adorable that I had to take pictures:

Juniper hosts brunch
Our friend Kerry had a job interview, so her son Patrick came over for the morning to hang out here. Seeing as this was the perfect excuse for a party, Toni and Isabella, and Tawnya and Calla came over as well. At one point, all four kids were sitting around the table eating brunch. How could I not document the occasion?

Hard at Work
Juniper had been getting rather annoyed having to share our computers all the time, so we finally buckled and got her her own. To be fair, there is a lot of work the Juniper needs to get done in a day - emails to write, reports to finish... really, it never ends.

Swing!
It was lovely yesterday, so we went on a walk around town. We stumbled across a park, and realised that Juniper had never ever been on a swing. Obviously, a problem that needed to be solved. This opens up a whole new world of play options... parks, here we come!

Shower time
Juniper is a girl who loves her baths, but it struck me the other day that it might be worth getting her used to the shower. Consequently, Clark got a surprise visitor, and Juniper had a mini adventure. Result - she liked it! More showers to come!

Out and about
We have been on loads of adventures around town lately... this past weekend, for instance, we spent most of Saturday downtown, socializing. One stop we made was at a Just Us with Kata, and Juniper was enthralled by the fish that were hanging out behind us:

And finally...
hehehehe. No explanation necessary.

Check back soon for some great videos!

Tara, I'm really enjoying your blog. It gets me so excited for all the fun I'll be having with Caleb in a few months time. We need to get together for another adventure soon.
