A few new things

Linden chases a duck at the beach
This week was one of those weeks that contained more boring, mundane things than it did fun and interesting tales with which to regale you. I could, for instance, give you all the details about how Clark got his partial crown put in, and the very next day I got the final crown put on my ill-fated tooth. SUPER titillating.  Or maybe about the morning that I decided to brave a solo trip to Hyannis (45mins away) with both kids to do a big grocery shop and then go for rides on the carousel at the mall. I do not believe I shall attempt that again.

More spring blossoms!
But there were at least a few notable events... for instance, Juniper got to choose a brand new, fancy schmancy helmet, and, after much pestering, was finally allowed to (carefully) ride her bike around the yard.

SO MUCH TIE-DYE!

Also, we spent Thursday morning at a double-header paediatric eye appointment.  It was good news all around - Juniper's glasses have been fixing her strabismus exactly the way they are supposed to, and (perhaps most relieving of all), it doesn't look like Linden is going to need glasses.  Thank. Goodness.  He would have looked ridiculously cute in glasses (I know this for a fact, because he tried a bunch on for fun), but I can pretty much guarantee that it would have been a daily fight to keep them on his face, and they would have been repeatedly lost and/or destroyed.  So all's well that ends well.  Here is a group shot post-appointment.

We grabbed some sandwiches in Sandwich.
And finally, here is a picture of Juniper in her new glasses - she has the same prescription, but her old ones were just too scratched to justify trying to make them last any longer.  Besides, sometimes a girl just needs a new (ultra expensive) accessory, right?

I still haven't figured out how to get Juniper to pose for a photo.  It never works out.
