one last week...

Intrepid beach explorers, undeterred despite the unexpected crazy cold wind.
This past week was the last hurrah before all of the back-to-school madness begins.  We packed in some beach time, hiking and biking in the woods, a trip to the Nature Museum, and a refugee rally to round it all out.  Also, we welcomed our temporary 5th family member for the month of September: my youngest sister Faye will be staying here for the next few weeks.  We'll see if we can acclimatize her to the very early mornings and constant energy.  So far, she's managing quite respectably.  If I remember correctly, one possesses WAY more energy reserves while still in one's 20s.

Juniper diligently dissecting an owl pellet at the museum.  She found a bunch of rodent bones!
A Little Roald Dahl with Faye on the lawn
Mid-refugee-rally. Juniper was very interested in what was going on, and what everyone was saying.  Linden.... not so much.
Post-rally spinning at the park
Exploring a new trail
A study in orange
Showing off the ancient artifacts (old nails) that they found

That's all for this week.  Please also visit juniperandlinden.org for a new informational video on ancient artifacts.  You can follow the link HERE.  See you next week!
